Good morning Big Blue Nation, and Happy Easter to all of you! We at A Sea of Blue hope you have a wonderful Easter Sunday with family and friends.
Yesterday, we witnessed three (for certain) future Wildcats hit the floor in the Jordan Brand Classic, as Keion Brooks, Tyrese Maxey and Kahlil Whitney were selected to participate in the game.
Brooks finished with 15 points, 6 rebounds, and a pair of steals. Brooks looked like a man on a mission, playing with a chip on his shoulder after narrowly missing out on the McDonald’s All-American Game. Major note: He did all this in 14 minutes of game time.
Maxey struggled with his shot, but finished with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to go along with a pair of steals.
Whitney finished with 8 points on the night with a pair of rebounds to add on.
The Jordan Classic wraps up the main circuit of high school all-star games, so now we wait until the summer when these guys begin to make their way to Lexington.
