How to watch and follow the Kentucky Football Spring Game

Got to keep that momentum rolling.

Jason Marcum - Sea of Blue

Fresh off of a win at the VRBO Citrus Bowl back in January, the Kentucky Wildcats football team is ready to get back on the field.

After a few weeks of practice, this will be a great opportunity to see what the team will look like after losing just big time players like Benny Snell, Josh Allen, and CJ Conrad.

Despite losing so many all-time players, the Kentucky roster is still strong and the Wildcats are looking to compete for a spot on the SEC Championship game this fall. With Terry Wilson going into his second season as the starting quarterback, and with Snell no longer being available, the offense may have a very different look this year. Will Eddie Gran open up the playbook? Will AJ Rose fill Benny’s shoes and carry the load?

Defensively, Josh Allen was the only major loss up front. However, the secondary is going to rely on several young players to get the job done. The Blue-White game will give us a good opportunity to know where they are right now, and it will hopefully give fans confidence in the pass defense going into SEC play.

No major injuries have been reported, and we will have the opportunity to see several freshman who have come to school early to get to work. Most notably, in-state linebacker Jared Casey is sure to see some time alongside Kash Daniel on Friday. They’ll be counted on to help offset the loss of All-SEC linebacker Jordan Jones.

Tickets are on sale online, and you can also purchase them at Kroger Field before the 6 p.m. kick-off on Friday. Come out, support the team, and get a taste of what this group may look like when the regular season rolls around this fall.
