The Kentucky Wildcats went on the road and took care of the Ole Miss Rebels 80-76 in a highly entertaining game.
UK is now 3-1 without Reid Travis in the line-up and now all eyes are on the fifth year senior to see if he will make his return against the Florida Gators on Saturday in the regular season finale.
It was a bit of an abbreviated show due to the late hour but here is what I discussed:
- Keldon Johnson and Tyler Herro went off in the first half to keep the Cats in it as PJ Washington sat the bench
- It was a welcome sight to watch Keldon Johnson as he was back to form
- PJ Washington went beast mode in the second half
- John Calipari was VERY happy with a quality road win without Reid Travis for the entire game and Washington in the first half
- Nick Richards and EJ Montgomery both gave UK some quality minutes off the bench, especially on defense
- Immanuel Quickley continues to play well as Ashton Hagans is still struggling at times
- And more!
Tune in Saturday after the Cats take on the Gators for more fun on the ESPN 680 UK Postgame Show!
