The Kentucky Wildcats win their final road game of the regular season at the Ole Miss Rebels, 80-76.
The Cats won what John Calipari said would be a “war” with PJ Washington in foul trouble for the first half, Keldon Johnson and Tyler Herro kept the Wildcats in the game. Herro finished with 22 points, five rebounds, and three steals on the game. Keldon finished with 22 points and seven rebounds.
This was a must-win game for the Wildcats in order to keep their hopes for a one seed alive and they got the job done. Now hopefully, Reid Travis is back for senior day against the Florida Gators on Saturday.
Coach Cal also got his 300th win at Kentucky with tonight’s win.
Here’s what social media had to say about the Wildcats’ close win over the Rebels:

Tonight Kentucky had their 2nd best shooting performance in an SEC road game in the John Calipari era (55.4%). Their best: January 29th, 2019 at Vanderbilt (55.6%)

Tyler Herron is 54 for 55 from the soul like in SEC games? Did I read that right?

Ole Miss shot 91% from the line, hit twice as many threes as Kentucky, outrebounded UK by 8, and had the benefit of Doug Shows.

Yet Kentucky won.
♂️
That's a really nice win for Kentucky. Really tough loss for Ole Miss.
