One of the most fun parts of the NCAA Tournament season is seeing how celebrities fill out brackets.
For the student-athletes getting praise from those they have grown up admiring either in sports, movies or in politics has to be an awesome feeling.
Recently, The Checkdown posted the national championship picks of a handful of NFL players, one of which picked the Kentucky Wildcats. That player is none other than Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
In his prediction, Ramsey gave love to star freshman Tyler Herro calling him a “bucket”.
Herro clearly appreciated the love from Ramsey as he shared the post from The Checkdown on his Instagram Story.
The reason why this particular complement is newsworthy is because Ramsey doesn’t exactly hand out compliments.
Last summer, he went on a tangent bashing several quarterbacks around the NFL.
The list of quarterbacks bashed by the Jacksonville corner included Eli Manning, Ben Roethlisberger Andrew Luck, Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, and Josh Allen.
Thus, it’s fair to say Herro earning praise from someone who only hands it out to a handful of people is quite the compliment.
