UPDATE
Not so fast.
According to Justin Rowland of Rivals.com, Davis is not a take.
With the 2019 class in the rearview mirror, the Kentucky Wildcats are scored another commitment in the Class of 2020.
It came Thursday as three-star wide receiver James Davis committed to Kentucky:

Davis is a 5-11, 160-pound pass-catcher who plays at Glades Central in Belle Glade (FL).
Davis’ recruitment has only began to heat up, as he only holds a handful of scholarship offers, including the Syracuse Orange, according to 247 Sports.
Rivals.com is the only website with a grade for Davis, as they have him as a three-star prospect.
Kentucky has struggled when it comes to recruiting wide receivers in recent years, and with the potential of Lynn Bowden going pro after the 2020 season, Mark Stoops needs to load up on pass-catchers in this class.
Davis joins three-star offensive tackle Gerald Mincey and three-star offensive guard Richie Leonard as Kentucky’s three-man recruiting class for 2020.
