NCAA Tournament seed ranking revealed

How the Selection Committee ranked all 68 teams in the NCAA Tournament.

The 2019 NCAA Tournament bracket is set, and the Kentucky Wildcats will be a 2 seed in the Midwest Region.

The Duke Blue Devils earned the No. 1 overall seed, while the Virginia Cavaliers, North Carolina Tar Heels and Gonzaga Bulldogs rounded out the 1 seeds.

Kentucky ended up being the third-best 2 seed, which actually landed them in a more favorable region, at least in terms of a path to the Elite Eight. If the chalk holds up, Kentucky would have to beat the Abilene Christian Wildcats, Wofford Terriers and Houston Cougars to make the Elite Eight, where North Carolina would likely be waiting.

Kentucky managed to score seven wins over top-20 teams in the regular season, including two over top-five teams. That should bode well for the Wildcats as they look to make a deep run.
