Selection Sunday is here, as 68 teams will learn their NCAA Tournament fate.

For the Kentucky Wildcats, their path to the Final Four could end up being in all four regions. The only consensus is Kentucky is now a 2 seed after falling to the Tennessee Volunteers.

Not everyone is convinced the Vols will get a 1 seed, as the ACC could wind up with three 1 seeds with Gonzaga getting the final 1. But there are several projections with Tennessee actually taking the final 1 seed in the West with Gonzaga (rightfully) dropping to a 2 seed.

USA Today actually has Kentucky falling into the 2 seed that gets placed in the East Region with the No. 1 overall seed Duke Blue Devils.

It’s basically the same projection with Jerry Palm at CBS Sports:

SB Nation has the Wildcats in the South Region with the Virginia Cavaliers as the 1 seed.

That’s also what Bracketville expects for Kentucky:

The latest from ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has Kentucky as a 2 seed in the West Region with the Gonzaga Bulldogs as the top 1 seed:

Finally, BracketWag has Kentucky landing in D.C. with Duke in the East Region.

Finally, Andy Katz of NCAA.com has Kentucky and Virginia in the South Region:

The majority of these projections have Kentucky staying near the East Coast, whether it be in the East or South regions. However, ending up in the West away from Virginia or Duke wouldn’t be a bad thing.

Which of these projections do you think would be best for Kentucky? Let us know in the comments section.
