The Florida Gators and LSU Tigers just played what may end up being the best game of the SEC Tournament.
After the top-seeded Tigers dominated the first half, Florida made a furious rally in the second half with their season on the line. The Gators came into today likely to miss the NCAA Tournament without a win, and they played a like a team fighting for its life down the stretch.
The two teams would trade body blow after body blow in the final minutes. Florida held a 73-70 lead in the final minute before a Naz Reid three-ball tied the game with 13 seconds left.
But Florida got the last shot, and it turned out to be a game-winning three by freshman guard Andrew Nembhard.

This win is also a boost to Kentucky’s resume since they played Florida twice and LSU only once. The Gators entered the day ranked 32nd in NET, and VCU (31) just lost to Rhode Island. Florida should move back into the top 30, which makes Kentucky’s home win over the Gators a Quad I win, giving them 11 for the season.
ANDREW NEMBHARD! ICE IN HIS VEINS.
