WATCH Keion Brooks become a Wildcat

It’s done.

Five-star forward Keion Brooks committed to the Kentucky Wildcats over the Indiana Hoosiers:

The recruitment of Keion Brooks will finally end tonight, as he is set to make his college decision at 8:00 pm EST. It will be aired live on CBS Sports HQ.

The five-star small forward will be deciding between the Kentucky Wildcats, Indiana Hoosiers, Michigan State Spartans and North Carolina Tar Heels. With that being said, many experts have narrowed it down to a two-team race that include Kentucky and Indiana.

Keion is a 6-8 versatile big man that can play a variety of positions on the floor. He’s from Indiana, so that makes things much more interesting.

The sense of pride you get from playing for your home state is strong, but will it deter him from choosing an elite program like Kentucky?

That’s the question on everyone’s mind with this decision.

Indiana had been the favorite for almost the entirety of Keion’s recruitment, but things have changed in a great way for Kentucky. In 247’s crystal ball, Kentucky is now the leader for Brooks and holds 71% of the predictions while Indiana is tied with Michigan State for second with 14%.

The Cats really need a talented forward for next years class as their current ones in Keldon Johnson, PJ Washington, and Reid Travis will have moved on from the University. Keion can do just about everything on the court and plays like the new generation of basketball players.
