CJ Conrad confirms to KSR that he was not cleared to compete at the NFL Combine due to a newly discovered heart issue in his physical. He will not work out tomorrow
Jones also reported that the tight end told him he was disappointed and deflated by the news. The former Wildcat will undergo more testing and get a second opinion on his condition. Regardless, Conrad is holding out hope that he will still be able to suit up in the NFL.
In four seasons at Kentucky Conrad made 80 catches for 1,005 receiving yards and 12 touchdown grabs.
Conrad was named a captain by Mark Stoops and company last season as he helped guide the Wildcats to their first 10-win season in over four decades.
All of the big blue nation will be hoping for the best as Conrad looks to make his dream come true and make it to the NFL.
