The Kentucky Wildcats get their 19th win on the season and extend their win streak to nine games with a blowout win against the South Carolina Gamecocks, 76-48.
PJ Washington, yet again, had himself a night with 20 points and five rebounds, good enough for his fourth-straight 20 point game. And EJ Montgomery finally has a breakout game, racking up 11 points and 13 rebounds.
The defensive performance from the Wildcats was suffocating again. Stifling defense has been this Kentucky team’s motto during their nine game win streak.
The Wildcats came into the game eighth in KenPom defensive efficiency, and they will likely move up tomorrow after holding the Gamecocks to 48 points.
