Kentucky watching B.J. Boston after visit to Lexington

The Wildcats are going all-in with Boston.

After recently offering five-star 2020 guard Brandon ‘B.J.’ Boston, Kentucky will be making a trip to watch him play tonight, according to Evan Daniels.

Boston recently took a visit to Lexington over the past weekend for the Auburn game, in which he secured a scholarship offer from John Calipari.

It also helps Kentucky’s chances with Boston that Auburn is considered a big player for Boston, and he got to witness the beat down that Kentucky put on Auburn.

That game even had Bruce Pearl singing the praises of Kentucky as he battles the school for several big-name 2020 recruits.

Boston is also AAU teammates with current UK point guard target Sharife Cooper, so is a package deal in order?

Time will tell, but Kentuck clearly would love to get both, as they’ve really been ramping up the pressure on Cooper. Now, they’re doing the same with Boston.

Boston is a long, athletic scoring wing with the ability to take the ball to the hoop or knock down threes. He can play the 2 or 3 spots with ease, making him a good fit for Calipari’s positionless approach.

Boston is currently the ninth-ranked player in the class of 2020, according to 247 Sports. Duke currently holds the crystal ball predictions with 100% of the predictions, but it seems John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats are going all-in for Boston and we could be seeing another Kentucky-Duke recruiting showdown.
