The Kentucky Wildcats are now 22-4 this season after beating the Missouri Tigers on Tuesday.
In what turned into an ugly game, Kentucky dominated the first half and led 41-23 at the break. The Wildcats would build the lead to 48-28.
However, the Tigers fought back and managed to outscore Kentucky by 10 in the second half. Part of that was due to the loss of Reid Travis to a knee injury midway through the half, but the Cats would prevail with a 66-58 win.
PJ Washington, this week’s reigning USBWA National Player of the Week, recorded with a game-high-tying 18 points and a game-high eight rebounds.
Tyler Herro continued to be a road warrior with 18 points and five rebounds. He’s averaging a team-high 16.1 points and 4.3 rebounds while shooting 52.3 percent and 43.2 from 3 in Kentucky’s eight road games.
