It’s beginning to look like Reid Travis avoided a major knee injury, but he’s not out of the woods yet.
Kentucky has announced Reid Travis has a sprained knee and will not return to the game.
The Kentucky Wildcats are holding their breath after watching Reid Travis go down with an injury.
It came in the second half of their matchup with the Missouri Tigers. It happened on a fast break attempt when Keldon Johnson fell into the back of Travis’ knee. He came up gimpy after the play but stayed in for several plays before Kentucky called a timeout to get him out.
Travis is now in the locker room being examined. Kentucky has yet to make an announcement on his status. If he is out for any amount of time, EJ Montgomery figures to get more playing time going forward along with Nick Richards.
