The recruitment of Keion Brooks is winding down, and a decision could come as early as this week.
After Brooks’ visit to Lexington over the weekend for Kentucky vs. Tennessee, his father, Keion Brooks Sr. now says a decision is “getting close.”
It’s not over but getting close! Recruiting doesn’t start until the parents and player start asking all the hard questions. #noFluff

There was speculation that after the surprise visit to Kentucky that a decision may be looming, and now it seems there is some substance to that claim.
This comes right after Brooks’ visit to Kentucky, and according to Rivals, the visit went very well and gave Kentucky a huge step in his recruitment. It also helps that the Indiana Hoosiers got mauled this past weekend by Minnesota and now seem likely to miss the tournament.
Brooks was supposed to visit the Michigan State Spartans on Sunday but canceled his visit for undisclosed reasons.
Now, 247 Sports’ Andrew Slater, one of the best in the business, is picking Kentucky for Brooks.
Adding more fuel to the fire is a member of Brooks’ family/friends was seen wearing a KEntucky jersey during his Senior Night at La Lumiere:

Could this be a sign of good things to come for John Calipari and the Wildcats, or is this just much-ado-about-nothing?
You can never be too sure in recruiting, but it’s clear that Kentucky has become a threat to land Brooks after it appeared they were out of the race.
