The #1 team in the country, the Tennessee Volunteers (23-1, 11-0), are in Lexington to take on the #5 Kentucky Wildcats (20-4, 9-2) in a battle that has been brewing for weeks now.

While the Vols have yet to lose in the SEC, the Cats are coming off of a shocking loss at home to the LSU Tigers and are in need of a rebound.

UK was 1-2 last season vs. UT, the one win coming in the SEC Tournament Championship.

The matchups everyone is honing in on is Grant Williams vs. Reid Travis and PJ Washington vs. Admiral Schofield. Williams admitted that last season Washington got into his head at times in Knoxville and during the SEC Tournament. These battles will go a long way in determining who comes out of Rupp Arena with a signature win, not to mention a big step toward a 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
