What may be the biggest SEC game of 2019 is on deck, as the No. 5 Kentucky Wildcats play host to the No. 1 Tennessee Volunteers.
Tennessee comes into this matchup as the hottest team in all of college basketball, winners of 19 straight and in firm control of the No. 1 overall ranking in both top-25 polls. Even so, the Vols haven’t gotten much love as a national title favorite, something they’d be getting more of if they make it 20-straight wins and come out of Rupp with a victory.
Kentucky, meanwhile, is looking to rebound from their first home loss of the season — a 73-71 defeat at the hands of the LSU Tigers. Now, Kentucky is looking to avoid losing back-to-back home games for the first time in the John Calipari era.
