The Kentucky Wildcats are set for a monster matchup with the Tennessee Volunteers. As you can imagine, Lexington will be hopping on Saturday, making this a great weekend to host recruits.

The big name that will be in town is five-star shooting guard BJ Boston, who will be in town this weekend, according to David Sisk of Rivals. Sisk adds that Kentucky will actually host a Bluegrass native as well in the form of Justin Powell. Both Powell and Boston are 2020 recruits.

Lastly, Kentucky will host 2021 guard Kennedy Chandler, according to Jake Weingarten of Stock Risers.

While none of these three recruits have an offer from Kentucky, Boston appears to be on the verge of one. The 6-6, 175-pound shooting guard from Norcross (GA) currently sits at No. 11 in the 247 Sports rankings, No. 7 at ESPN, and No. 7 at Rivals. His current offers include Duke, Auburn, Florida, Ohio State and Kansas.

I think there’s a good chance Boston scores an offer this weekend. Other blue bloods already have, so John Calipari and his staff can’t afford to waste any more time.

Powell, who hails from Louisville (KY), currently plays for North Oldham High School after transferring from Montverde Academy (FL) this fall. The 6-5, 180-pound shooting guard is ranked No. 142 overall by 247 Sports. He currently holds offers from Auburn, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Georgia and Cincinnati among others.

Chandler is a 6-0, 160-pound point guard from Briarcrest Christian High School (TN). He holds offers from Ole Miss, Tulane and UT-Martin. You can actually read more about Chandler in this interview with Prep Hoops.
