Thursday Quickies: Moving Forward Edition

The Wildcats aim to put LSU in the past with full attention now on Tennessee

NCAA Basketball: Louisiana State at Kentucky Mark Zerof-USA TODAY Sports

With a day to process the LSU loss and deal with the emotions of the ending, it’s time to look ahead to Saturday’s game where the top ranked Tennessee Volunteers will come to town.

The LSU loss was frustrating. We all know that. Now though, Kentucky can bounce back in a big way by beating the Vols at Rupp and pick up a monumental win on the season.

The Vols are coming off a double-digit win at home against South Carolina and haven’t lost since November on their way to their #1 ranking. Kentucky can’t afford to get caught looking back at the ending to that LSU game if they want to defeat the Vols.

Saturday’s game should be rocking at Rupp and SHOULD be the best home atmosphere for a game Kentucky has had all season.

It’s time to put that loss behind us and get ready to try to pick up a season-defining win on Saturday.

Looks like Knox’s revenge for LSU stealing that game Tuesday night.
