Though the games are still a few weeks away, we finally enter a week of which we know what teams will play each other during the collegiate football postseason.

With the College Football Playoff consisting of LSU, Ohio State, Clemson and Oklahoma, the rest of the top 25 teams were rewarded their bowl game bids.

Then, programs eligible for a bowl game but not in the top 25 had their destinations revealed. First, it was strongly rumored that Kentucky would be heading for the Gator Bowl. However, a last minute switch has Kentucky officially playing Virginia Tech in the Belk Bowl on December 31st at 12 PM EDT. Though an official spread has yet to be released, the Wildcats are predicted to have a 58% chance of victory according to ESPN’s Football Power Index.
