Today is the College Football Playoff selection show where will see who are the top-four teams in, as well as the other bowl game announcements.
And for some god forsaken reason, it’s four hours long and Kentucky’s bowl announcement probably won’t come until hour three or later.
Depending on how the rankings play out, Kentucky could end up in the Belk Bowl or Gator Bowl. Those seem like the likeliest destinations, depending on if the SEC gets three or four teams in the New Year’s Six bowls, so root for Alabama or Auburn to crack the top 10 if you want to see the Cats in Florida.
But, for you looking to brave a four-hour selection show, here is a rundown of when things will take place:
- 12:30 p.m. ET -- Four College Football Playoff semifinalists revealed
- 2 p.m. ET -- Final College Football Playoff rankings announcement
- 3 p.m. ET -- New Year’s Six matchups and CFP semifinal game times announced
The show will start at Noon ET on ESPN and will last until 4 ET. You can watch it online using WatchESPN.
After the show, there will be post-ranking shows on ESPN2 from 4-7 and then on ESPN from 8-11:30. You can also watch all shows on the WatchESPN app as usual.
Good luck, and may the lord get you through a four-hour-long selection show.
