Kentucky’s 2019 regular season may have ended with a triumphant win over Louisville last Saturday, but that was just the beginning of fireworks to come. Early Thursday evening, Auburn quarterback (No. 3 dual threat QB in the 2018 class) Joey Gatewood announced his transfer to play at the University of Kentucky. As one of the highest-ranked quarterback “gets” in program history, this should ensure that not only head coach Mark Stoops stays in the bluegrass for several more years but the quality of talent at Kentucky continues to improve. The future only gets brighter for Kentucky football.
