The regular season may be finished and as Kentucky waits to find out its destination for the bowl game, Mark Stoops and the Kentucky coaching staff are hitting the recruiting trail to find the next crop of Wildcats.
Kentucky already has one of its best classes according to recruiting rankings during the Stoops era, headlined by top-15 recruit Justin Rogers.
But the Cats aren’t done yet as they look to add a few more players to the class. According to Kentucky Sports Radio, one of those recruits that Kentucky is targeting is top 250 defensive lineman Josaih Hayes, once considered an Ole Miss lean but after the unexpected firing of Matt Luke, there might be an opening for Kentucky to jump in.
There is a lot of optimism surrounding the Kentucky football program following this season and moving forward. A big reason for that is because of the work that this coaching staff has put in on the recruiting trail and it doesn’t seem Stoops and Co. are letting up anytime soon.
