The Kentucky Wildcats will take on the Virginia Tech Hokies at noon EST today in Charlotte, North Carolina for the Belk Bowl. It can been seen on ESPN and online using WatchESPN.
Based on the videos I’ve seen so far, it looks like blue definitely got in! It is going to be an exciting Belk Bowl with two teams who love to run the ball.
The Hokies’ schedule hasn’t been as challenging, from a ranking perspective, for them ,but they did play Notre Dame all the way down to the wire, losing by only one point. They have a lot of talent on the offensive side of the ball, so the Cats need to be aware at all times on defense.
Kentucky is coming off a wild season where they lost both starting quarterbacks to injury. Luckily, the Cats have Lynn Bowden. Stepping into the quarterback role and excelling the way he did is what allowed Bowden to enter the 2020 NFL Draft.
