The Kentucky Wildcats are back in action today as they take on their rival, the Louisville Cardinals. The game will be in Lexington and is scheduled to start at 3:45 pm EST on CBS. It can be streamed online using CBS Sports and on CBS Sports Mobile.
This is the biggest game of the season for Kentucky. After suffering another loss to then-No. 5 Ohio State, the Cats could really use a good win to boost their resume.
However, this is no easy task. The Cards haven’t looked this good since their championship run back in 2013. Chris Mack has his team playing at an elite level right now.
I said it last Saturday, and I’ll say it again: Nick Richards and EJ Montgomery have to step up if this team is going to make any kind of run.
Kentucky needs their frontcourt players to contribute more than six points and five rebounds (vs. Ohio State). If those two have another game like that, it’s gonna be a long day inside Rupp.
With all that being said, there is still hope. John Calipari’s teams are known for making quick adjustments and turning the corner to success.
It’s time BBN! #BeatTheCards
