Kai Sotto was a unheard of when he took his visit to Lexington just a week ago, but now, his name is being mentioned more and more after his visit with the Kentucky Wildcats.
Sotto is still virtually unknown as he is rated a four-star prospect by Rivals, but has not been given a ranking. He is unranked and unrated by 247 Sports. He is in the class of 2020.

Judging by his twitter feed, he seemed to really enjoy his trip to Lexington. However, as recruiting goes, it’s not over until it is over and it looks like it might be that way for Sotto as well. Kentucky, Georgia Tech, and DePaul are seen as the main suitors as of now.
Eric Bossi of Rivals talked to Sotto about his recruitment and some of the teams involved in it.
“It was great [Kentucky.] Coach Cal is such a great guy and they have such great facilities. The guys were great and it was a very intense practice. It’s just a great place.”
“We just talked about the school and if I played there how I would fit in. Also everything with the history, we just talked about almost everything.”
As for if he’ll play in college or pursue a professional career, Sotto said he did not know as of right now and is just using this year to become better and improve his game.
