With the University of Kentucky’s football program running wild over Louisville to win the Governor’s Cup and both basketball team’s steadily underway, the lady volleyball Wildcats are also coming on strong, as they will be the No. 9 overall seed in this season’s NCAA Tournament.

With their postseason starting on Friday, star senior Leah Edmond was also awarded Southeastern Conference Player of the Year. They finish the regular season with a 23-6 record and the team’s postseason run will be their eighth consecutive dating back to the 2012 season.
