Wednesday morning, the Kentucky Wildcats landed a commitment and a signature from one of the top defensive tackles in the country.
Josaih Hayes is ranked as the #160 player in the 2020 class and is the #13 player at his position. He was previously committed to Ole Miss but decommitted in October.
By the time the Rebels hired Lane Kiffin, Hayes had already taken official visits to Auburn and Kentucky.
Ole Miss was still viewed as the favorite, but Kentucky was making a big push for him. It paid off, because when National Signing Day arrived, Hayes picked the Cats and signed to play in Lexington.
The coach recruiting him was linebacker coach Jon Sumrall. The former Ole Miss assistant did an excellent job of getting Hayes to Lexington, then added a perfect Gif on Twitter once the announcement was official.

This recruiting class is loaded for Kentucky and is setting them up to be great in the trenches for many years to come. BBN should be very excited about the direction this program is heading.
