With three Kentucky targets expected to make their college commitments today, Mark Stoops has likely had a pretty nerve-wracking day.
Now, he can take a breath as two of the three are officially Wildcats with four-star OG RJ Adams and four-star OL Jeremy Flax choosing Kentucky earlier today.
The third player set to commit was four-star DB Joel Williams, but his decision date has now been changed. Williams was looking to commit either today or tomorrow, but it now seems that Williams’ decision will come some other time.
According to Cats Pause reporter Josh Edwards, Williams has postponed with commitment. It’s unclear when it will come, or if this is bad news for UK.
Williams was set to decide between a group of six SEC schools in Kentucky, Alabama, Florida, LSU, Georgia, and Auburn. At this moment, UK holds 63% of his Crystal Ball Predictions.
Stoops has put an incredible class together and it just continues to get better. Hopefully, won’t have to wait that much longer for Williams’ decision, and if he commits to Kentucky, this class can be one of the best, if not the best, in school history.
Stoops continues to work his magic on the recruiting trail, and with Williams potentially joining soon, it can only get better from here.
