Kentucky Football trending for trio of 4-star recruits

Kentucky is poised to beat schools like Alabama, Auburn and Penn State for big-time recruits.

Kentucky’s 2020 football recruiting class is already impressive as a top-25 class in the country. And it will soon be improving, as multiple targets for the Wildcats are making their college decisions this week.

One of those players is RJ Adams, an offensive guard out of Virginia, who, just this morning, has received a host of predictions to Kentucky via the 247 Sports Crystal Ball and Rivals FutureCast. Kentucky actually holds every pick in the crystal ball now ahead of his announcement later today.

Adams, ranked as the No. 12 offensive guard via Rivals, will be committing at Woodbridge High School later today at 2:30 pm EST. The other teams included in his top eight include Penn State, Miami, LSU, Alabama, NC State, Tennessee, and Florida State.

But Adams isn’t the only major recruit Kentucky is trending with. Four-star offensive tackle Jeremy Flax will also be announcing his college decision today, and Kentucky has picked up several Crystal Ball and FutureCast predictions over the last 48 hours.

The Auburn Tigers were previously seen as the big favorites, but things appeared to have taken a drastic turn after Flax officially visited Kentucky this past weekend. Tennessee, Oklahoma State, Maryland, Arkansas and Arizona are among the other schools who’ve offered.

247 Sports has Flax listed as the 20th overall JUCO prospect in the country and the No. 2 offensive tackle in the nation, while Rivals has him rated as a four-star prospect. He will announce his decision tonight at 6 pm EST.

One more big recruit Kentucky is picking up steam with is Joel Williams. The four-star recruit and 26th-ranked defensive back via Rivals is planning to announce some time today, and if he does, it will likely be in favor of the Wildcats, who have received several FutureCast and Crystal Ball predictions today. Kentucky currently has the majority of predictions in both services.

Of the three mentioned recruits here, Williams has been the most sought after, as he holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Texas, Oregon and Ohio State. That shows how huge of a get this would be for Mark Stoops if the DB ultimately rocks Kentucky blue.

If all three of these recruits pick Kentucky today, then they’ll likely be signing with the Wildcats tomorrow when the early signing period begins. The next two days are big for Mark Stoops and Kentucky recruiting with multiple targets up for grabs.

It’ll be interesting to see who or how many Stoops can bring in, but it’s a class that’s already very talented and will only get better from here.
