NCAA Football: Kentucky at Tennessee Randy Sartin-USA TODAY Sports

The bye week has come and gone and now it’s time to once again hit the gridiron. The Kentucky Wildcats welcome in the Tennessee Volunteers for this November border showdown.

The Cats too an L in Knoxville last season which ended up being the one bad blemish on an otherwise fantastic record. This time the game is in Lexington. The last time that occurred UK went on to win.

After a rocky start to the season by losing at home to Georgia State and BYU, the Vols looked to have righted the ship a bit. They are coming off of a big home win against South Carolina, a team that demolished Kentucky a month ago.

I think Kentucky has the better overall team but it will be interesting to see how the Lynn Bowden Offense does in something other than a torrential downpour. Eddie Gran has had an extra week to install the offense so it should be much better the third time out.

Cats by 90, baby.

Nick Richards has looked like a completely different player in his first two games of the season. 21 and 10 last night. If this is the Richards we get all season, the Cats are going to be a legit problem.

The NCAA is about to deal James Wiseman, Penny Hardaway, and the Memphis basketball team a major blow.

UK dismantles EKU | Cats Pause- It was a fun game to watch. The play of Nick Richards and Keion Brooks really stood out to me. Johnny Juzang and Kahlil Whitney still seem to be finding their way. It’ll come.

SEC Week 11 Bold Predictions | Saturdays Down South- If this prediction is true and Sawyer Smith does play for Kentucky, then I don’t like the Cats’ chances of winning.

James Wiseman ruled ineligible by the NCAA | USA Today- This is a huge story on multiple levels. James Wiseman could very well be the best player in the country. Memphis filed a restraining order on the NCAA so Wiseman could play... against UIC. Penny allegedly help pay for the Wiseman family to move to Memphis. Whoops.

Week 11 SEC Picks | CBS- All I can say is: BOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Rick Pitino to coach Greek National Team | WDRB- He had no other option stateside so back to Greece he goes.

Mark Stoops looking at one game at a time | Vaught’s Views- Stoops understands what the end of the season could look like. It could look like 8-4 with a nice bowl game in warm weather to look forward to. Or it could mean 5-7 and a major disappointment. But he’s not thinking in those terms.
