The top-25 recruit is likely to pick between a pair of SEC schools.

As the fall signing period is set to begin soon, the Kentucky Wildcats could add one more recruit before the deadline ends in the form of Isaiah Jackson.

The five-star forward out of Michigan just finished his official visits with a recent trip to Alabama, and after a week of thinking, he’s zeroed in on a decision date, as he’ll announce on November 16th.

This has widely been viewed as a Kentucky vs. Alabama battle for the top-25 recruit. Jackson had his official visit to Kentucky back on August 31st.

Wes Jackson, Isaiah’s father, recently talked about each program for an article with Chris Fisher at CatsPause.com.

“Coach Calipari, Kentucky, their brand and the level they can take Isaiah to,” said Wes. “The brand they have there is awesome. The track record speaks for itself and everything is lined up there. He would have to earn his keep. Iron sharpens iron. He would thrive there and have that competition.

Rivals analyst Corey Evans recently said that it’s a two-horse race between Kentucky and Alabama, but it’s the Crimson Tide who’ve been playing catch-up for Jackson.

In addition, ESPN reporter Jeff Borzello recently predicted Kentucky to land Jackson with a 50% confidence rating.

However, all of the most recent Rivals futurecast and 247 Sports crystal ball predictions have been in favor of the Crimson Tide.

I think Alabama wins out.
