Fan-favorite Kash Daniel has had a rough senior season in 2019, as he’s battled injuries and faced criticism for a questionable play against Florida back on Sept. 14th.
Regardless, the Paintsville native is loved by the Big Blue Nation, and Saturday will be good to go for his final game at Kroger Field, according to head coach Mark Stoops.
Daniel, who it was initially reported was not on the sideline with a non-medical issue in the second half vs. UT-Martin, is indeed okay, according to Stoops.
“Kash is good. It’s hard. Kash is one of those guys that just, he leaves everything out there,” said Stoops. :He practices so hard and he plays so hard and he has some frustrations at times because he thinks he’s getting beat at times.
“The young man gave us everything he’s got all the time. We love him. He’s a great teammate, and he’s ready to go. He’ll be back out there ready to go this week. I’m so proud of him and the things he’s had to overcome.”
Daniel will be among 11 seniors honored by the Wildcats before Saturday’s game with Louisville.
