The Kentucky Wildcats will have their first of two chances to clinch a bowl bid in 2019 this Saturday when they play host to the UT-Martin Skyhawks.
UT Martin is an FCS program that places in the Ohio Valley Conference alongside Bluegrass state schools such as Eastern Kentucky and Murray State. This will be the second SEC foe they have faced this season, as they lost 45-0 to the Florida Gators back on Sept. 7th.
The Skyhawks come to Lexington with a 7-4 record and in need of a victory to extend their season into FCS postseason play.
Saturday will be a rematch of a 2014 contest that saw then second-year head coach Mark Stoops’ Wildcats jump in front 52-0 and eventually win by a final score of 59-14.
With a victory, the Wildcats will clinch a bowl bid for the fourth straight season for just the second time in school history.
