Kentucky vs. Mount St. Mary’s: Everything to know

The No. 9 Kentucky Wildcats got back in the win column Monday with an eight-point victory over Utah Valley, but it was a major struggle that saw them leading by just one with under three minutes.

Now, they’ll have another chance to prove the Evansville game was a fluke when they play host to the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers.

The Mountaineers come to Lexington 1-4 on the season with losses to Georgetown, Washington, and future Kentucky opponents Lamar and UAB.

Located in Emmitsburg (MD), the Mountaineers are a member of the Northeast Conference and finished 9-22 a year ago.

While on paper they look to be a team Kentucky should roll over, nothing has come easy for these Wildcats the last couple of games, so they will still need to bring their A-Game to get a victory that will get the fan base believing again.
