No. 1 Kentucky’s loss to unranked Evansville on Tuesday evening came as a complete shock.
The Wildcats were 25-point favorites and just a week past their dominating display of defense against former top-team Michigan State. In our social media-crazed society, it’s no secret that the team has been fully exposed to all of the heat that comes with a letdown loss such as this.
However, the Wildcats’ head coach remains fully confident in his team (as he should) and is ready to coach them up.
Adversity has hit, but it’s also an opportunity to grow. We have work to do but I’m confident about this group of great kids. This will get us more focused and more together. #BBN, this is always a journey so enjoy the ride and support these kids. Let’s do this together!!! (2/2)
