The Kentucky Wildcats have become a powerhouse for five-star recruits under John Calipari, and in 2020, it’ll be no different. They brought in three this past season and should boast at least three more next year.

That includes five-star shooting guard Terence Clarke, who is one of the top players in the Class of 2020, has officially signed his letter of intent to play for Kentucky. On the first day of the early signing period, Clarke made it known that his future is in Lexington.

The No. 1 shooting guard and No. 4 overall recruit via 247 Sports composite, Clarke is from Boston, Massachusetts. He committed to UK in September and announced he would reclassify from 2021 into 2020.

Clarke had 26 offers on the table from the most high-profile universities like Duke and Kansas, However, he, like many other recruits over the past decade, saw what Coach Cal can for an athlete’s development and chose UK.

The 6-foot-7 swingman will finish up his high school academia at Brewster Academy. Boston, UK’s other five-star commit, is also a 6-foot-6 shooting guard, so it’ll be interesting to see how Coach Cal opts to line them up. UK is also expected to add five-star point guard Devin Askew, who is currently in 2021 but is expected to move into 2020.

Regardless, Clarke will be one of Coach Cal’s best prospects to come through Lexington.
