While there is plenty to be excited about with the current Kentucky Wildcats team that is ranked No. 1 in the country for the first time since 2016, there’s also reason to look ahead to 2020 as John Calipari and his staff are building a monster recruiting class.
One of the players committed for 2020 is four-star recruit Cam’Ron Fletcher, who is ranked 45h overall by 247 Sports composite. The 6-6 forward from St Louis (MO) chose Kentucky over Michigan State, Alabama, Missouri, and North Carolina among others, and he will not waste much time to make his decision final.
Fletcher’s high school coach Tony Irons told the CatsPause that Fletcher intends to sign during the early signing period and will do so at a ceremony on Thursday.
Fletcher is in line to join five-stars Devin Askew, B.J. Boston and Terrance Clarke along with four-star Lance Ware in what’s shaping out to be one of Calipari’s highest rated classes since coming to Kentucky.
