Wednesday Quickies: Tyler Herro Edition

New, comments

Herro wasted no time making a strong impression in last night’s preseason game

NBA: Preseason-San Antonio Spurs at Miami Heat Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Tyler Herro impressed in the summer league with the Miami Heat, and he continued that in preseason action last night against the San Antonio Spurs.

Herro led all scorers last night, finishing with 18 points on 7/13 shooting including 2/5 from three. In addition to his scoring output, Herro tallied three rebounds and three assists, along with a steal and a block.

Herro was able to score in a variety of ways, including this step-back jumper.

And this nice floater...

And here’s Herro’s block...

Overall, a good night for the former Wildcat with several highlight-worthy plays. If he keeps this up, Herro is going to find himself in contention for All-Rookie honors.
