Kentucky is looking to add to their defensive back group for next season, which will get a boost from within when Kelvin Joseph makes his debut next season.
Joel Williams, a talented four-star DB, is one of the top recruits left on Kentucky’s big board, and he will be on campus this weekend for the Wildcats’ game vs. the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Williams announced his official visit to Lexington Monday afternoon on Twitter.

It was actually when Joseph announced he was transferring to Kentucky that caught Williams’ attention. Williams, who is from Baton Rouge like Joseph, was previously committed to Florida, but decommitted from the Gators back in June.
The No. 25 safety in the country, Williams is a serious athlete at the DB spot. He spreads his talents on both sides of the ball for Madison Prep High School as of now, but he can be a difference maker in the future for Kentucky on the defensive side of the ball.
The Wildcats are in a race for Williams with a group that includes Alabama, LSU, Tennessee and Florida. It’s an impressive list, but you never know what kind of an impact Joseph’s transfer to Lexington could have had on his decision.
If Kentucky can end their losing streak and host a strong visit for Williams, it will be a great Saturday night for the UK coaching staff.
