Moussa Cisse is now someone firmly on UK’s radar in the Class of 2021.

According to Rivals reporter David Sisk, Cisse holds a scholarship offer from UK, though it’s unclear when the offer was made.

Even so, this means Cisse is someone John Calipari is starting to prioritize in the 2021 class, where the only other true big man with a UK offer is Paolo Banchero, who is rumored to be a reclass candidate, according to Corey Evans.

The 6-9, 220-pound Cisse is ranked seventh overall by Rivals in 2021.

Sisk also confirmed that other schools like Memphis, Texas A&M and Ole Miss have offered Cisse. Previously, the only reported offers on any recruiting site were from Georgia, Pitt and UConn.

The Tigers are viewed as the early favorites for Cisse after he transferred from Christ The King Regional in New York to Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis this past August.

But if Calipari has already offered a scholarship, that means he believes UK has a real shot at pulling the top-10 recruit out of Penny Hardaway’s backyard. This is shaping up to be another Cal vs. Penny battle for an elite center recruit.

Hopefully, the Cats come out victorious this time around.
