The Kentucky Wildcats have been gaining more and more momentum in the recruitment of Cade Cunningham, and it continues to trend in the Cats’ direction.

As you know, Evan Daniels logged a crystal ball prediction for the Cats on Sunday afternoon, giving the BBN tons of excitement.

Daniels is 43/43 on predictions in the 2020 class, so he’s only going to make that pick if he feels very confident in it.

Now, another expert has flipped on his prediction.

247 Sports scouting director Jerry Meyer had a crystal ball prediction logged for Oklahoma State, but that is no longer the case.

Wednesday morning, Meyer joined Daniels in picking the Cats to land Cunningham, and the Kentucky buzz continues to get louder. Rivals analyst Zach Berry also changed his prediction to Kentucky.

However, not every expert is ready to predict Kentucky for arguably the No. 1 player in 2020.

In his Tuesday column, Rivals recruiting analyst Corey Evans wrote “I am still not willing to budge off of my Oklahoma State prediction for Cade Cunningham.” He added “UK still has a lot of work to do” in order to overcome Oklahoma State for Cunningham.

In addition, 247 Sports recruiting expert Andrew Slater hinted on Twitter that he’s still picking the Cowboys.

Needless to say, it’s clearly still a close battle between the Wildcats and Cowboys, and a decision from Cunningham isn’t expected until sometime in November. In the meantime, he’ll take an official visit to Washington this week, which is tentatively set to be his final visit.

Oklahoma State still has the most predictions at Rivals and 247, but that will hopefully change in the coming weeks.
