After Friday night’s Big Blue Madness, it’s hard to imagine anything other than what head coach John Calipari’s Kentucky Wildcats will look like for the 2019-2020 season.
However, if Kentucky can land at least one of Cade Cunningham, Greg Brown or Scottie Barnes, that would be a triumphant way to end the 2020 recruiting season.
If Kentucky can land Cunningham, their chances of adding at least one of Brown or Barnes skyrockets. Even Barnes recently said Brown committing to the Big Blue would be a big plus for the Wildcats. Barnes will take his visit this upcoming weekend for the annual Blue-White game.
While it’s been eight long years since the last championship banner was hung in Rupp Arena, Calipari has assembled many talented recruiting classes since then. Sooner or later, number nine will be hanging in the rafters.
