The Kentucky Wildcats have a new scholarship offer out in the Class of 2021.
According to Rivals reporter Corey Evans, A.J. Griffin has received an offer from John Calipari.

Calipari traveled to New York today to make the offer in-person to Griffin, who is 247 Sports’ fifth-ranked player in 2021. The 6-7, 200-pound wing also holds offers from the Duke Blue Devils, Villanova Wildcats, UCLA Bruins and Michigan Wolverines among others.
Back in July, Griffin told ZagsBlog that he was very interested in what UK had to offer.
“I’m really interested in them so it would be nice to see them,” Griffin said of Kentucky, touting Calipari’s ability to make develop players into pros. “That’s one of the things I like about them, is that they get them ready for the NBA the first year. That’s something I look forward to trying to do and just improve my game.”
Griffin joins five-star recruits Jon Kuminga, Paolo Banchero, Jaden Hardy, Moussa Cisse, Devin Askew and Patrick Baldwin as 2021 recruits with offers from UK. However, several of those guys have been mentioned as reclass candidates, so if Griffin keeps up his current pace, he could end up being in contention for the top spot.
Well, at least as long as he doesn’t reclassify into 2020, seeing as how seemingly every elite recruit has been mentioned as a reclass candidate.
