The Kentucky Wildcats entered the season as co-favorites with the Duke Blue Devils to win the 2019 NCAA Tournament title.
Now, Kentucky doesn’t even have the best odds in its own league to win it all.
The Wildcats’ title odds via BetOnline are now at 16-1 and tied with Michigan State and North Carolina as the seventh-best odds. Tennessee leads the SEC with 14-1 odds.
Kentucky will play Tennessee twice, and possibly three times if they meet in the SEC Tournament again, so the Wildcats will have plenty of chances to show who should have the better odds.
Kentucky also gets a crack at Kansas, who now has the fifth-best odds at 12-1.
Elsewhere in the SEC, Auburn has 25-1 odds, followed by Mississippi State at 50-1.
Duke is the heavy favorite to win it all at 2-1 odds with the next best teams being at 10-1.
Personally, I think Florida State and Texas Tech are being slept on at 40-1 odds, especially after the Red Raiders gave Duke all they could handle.
