Well that sure was exciting. The Big Blue Nation was in high spirits after the Kentucky Wildcats took care of business against the Kansas Jayhawks, 71-63.
I took to the airwaves immediately following the game, and here is what was discussed:
- The Cats win their third straight against a top 25 foe and their sixth overall.
- Reid Travis carried the team in the first half as the Cats were cold from the outside.
- PJ Washington owned the second half for UK.
- Ashton Hagans continued to dominate on defense and made things tough for the Kansas guards.
- Keldon Johnson earned a double-double and was big for UK down the stretch.
- Dedric Lawson talks about facing UK’s bigs and his relationship with Washington.
- Bill Self addresses the media.
- John Calipari was on one last night.
- Player sound from Washington, Johnson, and Travis.
- We talk calls from the BBN.
- And more!
