The Kentucky Wildcats’ top uncommitted football recruit for 2019 is going to take yet another visit to Lexington this Saturday.
According to KSR’s Nick Roush, Devonta Lee will be taking an unofficial visit to Kentucky and be at the Kansas game, making this his second visit to Lexington in the past month and a half:
Lee visited back in December, along with a plethora of recruits and commits, including his Amite High School teammate Amani Gilmore, a 3-star QB commit to the Wildcats.
Lee is a type of player who can make an impact from day one. He is ranked the No. 10 prospect from Louisiana and 168th in the nation via 247 Sports Composite, which measures all of the recruiting rankings.
Lee would make an immediate impact on the offensive side of the ball for the Wildcats if he were to commit to Kentucky and play alongside Lynn Bowden. If this past season was any indicator, Kentucky badly needs more help at receiver, as Bowden can only do so much as the only reliable threat. Having a guy like Lee could be a game-changer for the 2019 Kentucky Football team.
Lee tweeted out after the visit that he “fell in love with Kentucky,” making the Wildcats’ a legitimate contender to land the 4-star Under Armour All-American:
Man I fell in love with kentucky #BBN ⚪️@CoachMichaelSmi @UKCoachStoops @CoachHinshaw

Can Kentucky snag one their biggest football recruits in the Mark Stoops era?
While they’re still in a battle with the LSU Tigers and Texas A&M Aggies, it’s certainly looking like a very strong possibility, especially with Lee taking yet another visit to Kentucky right before signing day.
