The Kentucky Wildcats won their fifth game in a row as they dispatched the Mississippi State Bulldogs, 76-55.
The Cats were led in scoring by P.J. Washington (21) and Tyler Herro (18) but there wasn’t a Cat that played poorly last night.
Here is what I discussed:
- More of this PJ, please
- Tyler Herro has emerged as Kentucky’s most consistent player
- Ashton Hagans didn’t score much but his nine assists says it all
- Nick Richards and E.J. Montgomery made strides and changed the game
- Reid Travis did exactly what he needed to do
- The defense continues to impress
- John Calipari’s postgame press conferences
- Fans call in to show me some love
- And More!
I’ll be back with you on Saturday after the big top ten showdown with the Kansas Jayhawks. The Cats are looking to win their sixth in a row and to further pad their impressive NCAA tournament resume.
