That is 24 titles for the Kentucky cheer team all time, and they’ve all come since 1985. It’s also the school’s fourth-straight title under head coach Jomo Thompson.

The 2019 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship in Orlando ran from Friday through Sunday. The Kentucky Dance Team placed sixth nationally in the Hip-Hop competition, fifth in Game Day competition and 12 in Pom Pom.
The cheerleaders and dance team will be honored Saturday during the men’s basketball game vs. the Kansas Jayhawks.
